Q&A

First, the great thing about hiring a DJ is that we can play every single song that a band would play. We are experienced MC’s, meaning we make all the announcements and stick to the flow of the agreed-upon timeline. We have a multitude of songs we can choose from versus a setlist of songs. We can take a guest’s music request. And the most significant thing, in my opinion, is We DON’T have to take breaks!

Yes and No. We do create a playlist of all the songs submitted by our clients, but we pull from those as well as read the crowd to what types of music they are dancing to and then play similar artists and multiple genres of music to ensure we include every age group on the dance floor.

We highly recommend using ceremony services. Without your officiant having the microphone, how will all your guests be able to hear your vows or the words spoken by the officiant?

We can provide the necessary equipment for an additional charge. Please forward musicians’ contact information to Paragon Sound & Light so we can arrange what is needed.

Yes, we always make sure we play the radio-edited versions of all songs.

Other than water and the occasional soda, absolutely not! Each of our clients has entrusted us with one of the critical parts of their events. 

We don’t limit our clients to the number of meetings they can have with their DJ. Typically we do two sessions the initial consultation and the final details five days out from your event.

We provide all our clients with planning tools to customize their musical tastes.
Additionally, clients and guests will receive a flyer with a phone number to send song requests.
On performance day, we will randomly place song request cards on tables if allowed.

We can provide speakers for all additional rooms wirelessly, so no guest goes without music or hearing announcements.

Not a problem, we can provide an extra speaker to the room.

Absolutely! Our rental packages have been carefully curated to provide you with the best quality components at a discounted price when renting together as a package. If you are not sure which package is right for you, give our rental technicians a call for assistance.

Dance floor lights are used to illuminate the dancefloor to the beat of the music; in our case, they are computer operated by a unique lighting program so that the DJ can focus on you and your guest. They help bring energy into the room and let all your guests know it’s time to get up and PARTY!

Up-lights are lights placed around the room’s perimeter and shine up the wall for a touch of elegance. We set them to a single color at the beginning of the event to coordinate with the client’s other colors. Then, if the client chooses, we put them on sound-activated once we open the dance floor. They help create a brilliant high-energy atmosphere for you and your guests to dance the night away.

A lighting projector used to put your name in lights or stamp on your chosen venue for the night. Clients choose from multiple pre-designed templates or have the opportunity to submit custom artwork. Then we focus the image onto the center of the dance floor or on any wall you choose.

Mobile DJ Services – Genres of Music

Our DJs play all types of music, but packing the dance floor is our true business. Our DJs play to the crowd while mixing in different genres for all. All music is current with local radio stations and trending charts. Our music library contains country, hip-hop, Latin, line dances, oldies, pop, and top 40. We edit all music for profanity.

We allow our clients to choose the music ahead of the event, not only will you receive an email with song selection by specialty dance but we also have an app that allows you and guests to add music to your event.
